Butler's Bell can take the hassle out of dinner time with our Personal Chef Service, you can enjoy delicious meals, personalized to your tastes and lifestyle, prepared by a professional chef, in the comfort of your own home. We take care of the planning, shopping, preparation, storage, and clean-up. All you do is remove the entrees and side dishes from your refrigerator, follow the provided reheating instructions, serve and enjoy. The time you save can be spent on the things that really matter to you.

How it works

1. The consultation:We meet to discuss in more detail about the Personal Chef Service and what your needs are so that we can customize a plan suited just for you. We talk about your food preferences and any sensitivities or allergies that I should be aware of. I will be asking lots of questions to make sure I have all that I need to personalize the meals I prepare for you. I will also answer any questions that you have about the service and the menu. Before we close the meeting, we will agree on a service plan and the date for your first service.
2. Cook Date:The cook date is the day that I come to your home to prepare your meals. I begin my day by shopping for the ingredients I need to prepare your meal selections. Then, I come to your home and begin cooking. As I complete meals, I package, label and store them according to your requirements. Before I leave, I clean your kitchen and leave a menu with re-heating instructions. I typically spend 3-5 hours in your home on cook dates.
3. Dinner time: When you are ready, simply select the meal you want to have for dinner and follow the reheating instructions. Then enjoy!

Personal Chef Service
Butler's Bell offers four standard personal chef service plans, but if one of these don't fit your needs, a plan can be customized just for you.

Standard Personal Chef Service Plans

• The 5x4 Plan $237 + Cost of Groceries
  The 5x4 Plan provides 4 servings of 5 entrees paired with matched side dishes
  for 20 full meals.

• The 4x4 Plan $217 + Cost of Groceries
  The 4x4 Plan provides 4 servings of 4 entrees paired with matched side dishes
  for 16 full meals.

• The 3x4 Plan $197 + Cost of Groceries
  The 3x4 Plan provides 4 servings of 3 entrees paired with matched side dishes
  for 12 full meals.

Standard pricing includes:

• Initial Consultation
• Menu Planning
• Grocery shopping
• Travel to and from service area
• Meal preparation, using utensils and cookware from my mobile kitchen.
• Heating instructions with menu
• Kitchen clean-up

Containers
Quality food storage containers are an essential part of the Personal Chef Service. I offer 3 containter options for your food storage. Price noted here may differ than actual cost as that will depend on the number of containers required for your service.

• Reusable Containers
  
  • Plastic containers are a good economical choice for keeping meals fresh. There is a one-time charge for containers that, prices vary depending on your requirements, but generally begin at $75. The containers are yours to keep. Periodic replacement of containers will be done as needed.
  • Glass containers are the best choice if you intend to reheat your meals in your conventional oven. The one-time container charges begins at $75, and depend on the number of containers needed for your personalized service. The containers are yours to keep. Periodic replacement of containers will be done as needed.
• Disposable Containers
  If you prefer to use disposable containers, the cost will begin at $10 per cook date. The containers used for this option are 100% recyclable and safe for use in the freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

Hire a personal chef for yourself or for someone special in your life. Gift certificates make a great gift for newlyweds, new parents, moms-to-be, a friend or loved one who's just coming home from the hospital, or just because. The recipient simply contacts us for consultation so that we can create a menu and cook the food according to their tastes and dietary needs.
