Q: What is the difference between a Private Chef and a Personal Chef?
A: A Private Chef is employed by one client to prepare their meals and sometimes lives in the client's home. A Personal Chef is employed by many clients and always lives in their own home.
Q: Who hires a Personal Chef Service?
A: Anyone who has a need to solve the “what's for dinner?” problem can hire a Personal Chef Service. If you appreciate good food, enjoy personalized service, and want more time in your busy schedule, a Personal Chef Service is for you. People who hire personal chefs include: Busy Professionals, Families on the Go, Affluent Seniors, People with Special Dietary Needs and Restrictions. It is also a great gift idea.
Q: Do you use organic products?
A: I prefer to use local, natural and organic produce whenever possible. I also perfer to use grassfed pastured meats and poultry. These products cost a little more than conventially grown/raised prodcucts, but they are nutritionally superior.
Q: Do you cook in my home?
A: Yes. I bring everything I need to prepare your meals in your kitchen. When I'm done, I clean up and leave your kitchen clean and your refrigerator full of delicious meals.
Q: How long will you be in my kitchen?
A: Each service is different, but it usually takes 3-5 hours for each cook date.
Q: What do I need to do to prepare for the cook date?
A: Please have a clean kitchen, with plenty of uncluttered counterspace, and an empty sink.
Q: Will you prepare a favorite family recipe?
A: Yes. If you have some favorite recipes, I will be happy to prepare them for you.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The prices vary depending on the service plan. For standard service plans, see my pricing <link> page. For personalized plans, parties and special event catering, contact me to arrange for a quote.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, Butler's Bell LLC carries liability insurance.
