About Chef Mary

Mary has always enjoyed cooking, having learned at her grandma's side at a very young age. But when it came time for her to choose a career, she never considered cooking. Instead, she studied computer sciences and enjoyed a more than 20 year career in information technology. Eventually, she decided that there must be more to life than computers, and realized that what she enjoyed most was practicing her culinary skills for friends, family and co-workers.

So, Mary decided to leave the corporate world behind and follow her dream. She trained professionally at the prestigious New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. She quickly learned that cooking at restaurants, placing food on hundreds of plates and setting them in a window to be delivered to an unseen face, was just too impersonal for her taste.

Out of Mary's passion for cooking and a heart for bringing families back to the dinner table, the Butler's Bell was born. By doing the time-consuming job of grocery shopping, preparing and cooking meals for families, she is blessed to give busy people a chance to sit down in the comfort of their own homes for delicious, personalized, home-cooked meals.
